Tamara Myles
Biography
Tamara Myles is an accomplished speaker, author and trainer at the UPenn Resilience Program. She helps leaders increase engagement, well-being, productivity, and retention with research-backed practices that make work meaningful.
Her approach blends the latest research in Positive and Organizational Psychology with evidence-based strategies to deliver workshops and trainings that yield tangible business results. She have trained leaders at Best Buy, Microsoft, KPMG, Anytime Fitness, and Unilever and delivered keynotes to international business audiences.
In 2012, she developed the Peak Productivity Pyramid® and wrote her first book, The Secret to Peak Productivity, to help people more easily accomplish what is most important to them. Since the book’s publication, she has become more and more interested in how the experience of meaningful work affects the issues leaders are trying to solve for today: employee engagement, talent attraction, employee retention, and yes, even productivity. While completing my Masters in Applied Positive Psychology at UPenn, she expanded her research to include the cascading effect of highly meaningful work and give leaders a framework for how to foster meaningful work in their organizations. Her work and research have been featured in publications like Business Insider, Forbes, and USA TODAY.
Her next book, co-authored with Wes Adams, is forthcoming from PublicAffairs in 2025.
